KIRK HAMMETT'S KH-2 is THE ESP M-II Electric Guitar on Steroids - Kirk Hammett's KH-2 Vintage

This is a replica of the first guitar that Kirk Hammett ordered from the ESP custom shop back in 1987. It became the guitar that Kirk would take on the road with Metallica and still remains in his touring arsenal to this day. This guitar features all the well known features and wear that the original has gathered on the road, such as the bright orange "Caution Hot" sticker and Kirks name tag on the headstock.

The 3-piece maple neck rocks a rosewood fingerboard inlaid with Kirk's SKULL and CROSSBONE and on the reversed headstock. MOLTEN EMG 81 and 60 Active pickups BRING THE METAL Kirk Hammett and Metallica are known for. Original Floyd Rose tremolo keeps the KH-2 Vintage tuning rock solid at all times even with heavy whammy abuse. 24 X-Jumbo Frets and Alder Body give more FUEL to the FIRE. Notes sustain for days and the rhythm sounds take on a new depth with even the most dire levels of distortion and amp pummeling.
