PGM401 TFB Precision-made in Japan A different variation on the PGM signature theme with a Light Ash body instead of Basswood and a bridge pickup that’s closer to the neck for warmer tones in the lead position. The neck is thicker than a standard RG and features higher frets with a narrower fret width.

Released in 2009 the PGM401 TFB represents a classic look added to the big PGM family of guitars that Ibanez build with Paul Gilbert. Of course many guitar players buy a PGM because they love to play Paul Gilbet songs. And this guitar should at be able to make you sound like him. The PGM401TFB has got a maple and walnut neck with 24 medium frets and pearl white inlays. Most people love the fixed bridge on the 401 which keeps it nicely tuned while killing the strings with playing one Paul’s crazy solos.

The DiMarzio Classic Air humbucker pickups are wired in parallel and will take you back in time with a great classical look. The guitar gives you a lot of variety in sound and basically you can play anything you want on it.
