Loading... Please wait...Ibanez JEM7V Steve Vai Signature Jem Electric Guitar with Case
Born of the combined vision of Steve Vai and Ibanez, the revolutionary JEM continues to be one of Ibanez' leading models. JEM's are loaded with Steve Vai's choice of DiMarzio pickups - the 7V features 2 Evolution humbuckers and a DiMarzio Custom single coil in the middle. The JEM7V is built with a contoured alder body, an Edge Pro tremolo bridge and a 24-fret JEM Prestige neck with 6105 frets (rosewood fingerboard). This White model even has gold hardware!
The debut of the Steve Vai's JEM in 1987 and the introduction of his Universe 7-string changed everything. It's impossible think of any one person who has done more for the evolution of Ibanez guitars than Steve Vai.
JEM Series Features
Alder Body
Best known as the body wood for the classic single coil, bolt on neck guitar, alder produces clear, full bodied vintage tone that works well for lead or rhythm work.
Rosewood Fingerboard
Rosewood offers a strong, bright sound and an attractive appearance with a long grain.

"i play my firends Jem and it is sick. he originally got a Parker Fly Mojo (which costs a lot more) but he liked the JEM better so he returned it and the new guitar is sick. the neck is perfect, and i am not kidding, no flaws. the Evolution pickups are amazing. i like it better than my custom shop charvel, which is a jackson on steroids, and it is hard to make a guitar better than that."
