The JP60BKM Sterling by MusicMan are the import version of the Music Man JP-6 John Petrucci Signature Guitar - They are set up and inspected at the same California factory.  These guitars smoke in every way, shape and form.  We have had John in our shop for clinics - he would not allow subpar junk released with his name on it, Ernie Ball wouldn't either.  We are a Music Man dealer and have tested these neck and neck with the original, they are staggeringl close in feel and sound and workmanship is absolutely flawless.

Based on the Music Man JP6, the JP60BKM features a custom ergonomically contoured basswood body with a scooped forearm contour, which maximizes player comfort. The JP60BKM is built for speed and for comfort. The sleek body is outfitted with 2 high output Sterling Humbuckers that will deliver that massive shredder tone you are looking for.

The 24-Fret maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard adorned with tall-profile medium jumbo frets that will become an instant shredders favorite. Other features include a floating 2 point tremolo that is recessed into the body to prevent any incidental pitch changes and will withstand the most aggressive dive-bomb assaults.
