Very Rare Alvarez Yairi - ONLY 75 Guitars Made World Wide
Alvarez Yairi DYK75 75th Anniversary Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar
The limited edition K75 is meticulously hand built from private stock, hand selected wood and perfectly built with attention to every detail. The K75 series celebrates 75 years of Yairi building acoustic guitars, with an emphasis on making these instruments affordable to more players
The series comes in two body shapes, a standard square shouldered dreadnought, and a smaller body, rounder shouldered dreadnought, known as the Performance model. This shape delivers the performance of a standard sized dreadnought from a smaller body size, nearly 1 inch shorter and a half inch thinner, and could be more comfortable for many players.
In this anniversary year of production, only 75 pieces of each size will be made, a total of 150 guitars. They will come with commemorative registration and authentication documents, as well as being numbered, for example "1 of 75."
The K75 has an open-pore finish and is made from a solid AAA Sitka Spruce top and Ovangkol back and sides. It has Paua Abalone rosette and Mother of Pearl inlays. Other unique appointments are the vintage finish top, rosewood pick guard and aged brass tuners.
The K75 is constructed using Yairi's Lo-Mass Bracing, which reduces the volume of wood in the X-brace, allowing for more vibration without compromising strength.
All in all a beautifully built and appointed guitar!
